On Aug. 21, 2017, America will fall under the path of a total solar eclipse. During the eclipse, the sun will disappear behind the moon and turn the daylight into twilight. At the same time, the temperature will drop rapidly, as the rare total solar eclipse sweeps the nation. For about two and one-half minutes, day will turn into night and people who are in the “path of totality” will be part of an unforgettable experience as the sun’s corona reveals itself in grandeur.
Fascinated by this event, and located directly in the path of totality, Elliott Herzlich, owner of Elliott’s Jewelers in Clarksville, Tennessee, decided to commemorate the experience of the eclipse by creating the uniquely beautiful “Corona” pendant.
For sky watchers the pendant, designed and crafted specifically to capture and keep this historical event close to the wearer’s heart, is the perfect way to preserve the memory of the total solar eclipse.
Created in the image of the eclipse, the pendant is fashioned from sterling silver, set with black onyx, and accented with cz’s for a sparkling effect. It’s attached to an adjustable 22” sterling silver chain, which completes the look.
Fresh off the success of his solar-eclipse commemorative “Corona” pendant, Clarksville, Tennessee-based Elliott Herzlich has added another extraordinary piece to his “Elliott’s Exclusive” collection with the newly unveiled Drops of Love.
The intricately designed pendants are a result of a collaboration with renowned glass blower Joe Chastain, a self-taught craftsman with a decade of experience and global appeal. According to Herzlich, Chastain is the only known glass blower who has been able to perfect the technique necessary to create each Drops of Love design.
The pendants are available in four colors, black, blue, red and clear, and each one contains 10 round, full-cut diamonds for a total carat weight of .25 points.

It was a day made for crowns and queens on a late October, 2017 afternoon at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The new title-holders and the runners-ups received numerous prizes and scholarships, as pageant winners do, and included among the prizes were some special, sparkling gifts, created by Clarksville jeweler Elliott Herzlich of Elliott’s Jewelers. Herzlich, who designed the Corona pendant to mark the August 2017 Solar Eclipse, and the recently released “Drops of Love” line of hand blown glass and diamond pendants, under his “Elliott’s Exclusives” line presented Miss Tennessee USA with her own commemorative treasure.
